    No way this is just shy of 300 dollars. It's either a mistake or xiaomi is scared of Nord.

      the thing of concern is xiaomi.eu dropped support for redmi note 8 pro cause it has a mediatek processor,
      so we might not get support for this k30 ultra.
      and then there is the concern about GCAM
      GCAM is what makes xiaomi cameras usable, but mediatek processor phones don't have a good support for GCAM mods.

Then they could look to undercut greedy Qualcomm and restore some balance to the smartphone CPU market. Qualcomm greediness is leading to stupid prices for consumer and high costs of production for manufacturers. Monopoly in any market is never a good thing.

            You could buy 4 of K30 Ultra for the price of Galaxy S20 Ultra
            So you can upgrade every year compared to only buy 1 phone for 4 years
            Or you can upgrade every other years compared to only buy 1 phone for 8 years

                                Do dimensity chips quickly heat up the phone when gaming like other mediatek chips?

                                That's my only concern with mediatek chips. Even g series chips heat up quickly

                                  Manufacturers should give two good camera sensors instead of these crappy 2mp 5mp sensors just for the sake of calling so called "quad camera" these sensors are useless. Take iphone 11 as an example, total 3 sensors, all 12mp ... Wide Ultra Wide and Front!!!
