Redmi lover, 12 Aug 2020Check the details of hisillcon kirin 990 soc in depth. Whic... moreAgreed, it uses a76s however it is extremely close in terms of clock speeds and the modems are integrated unlike snapdragon who sells it as a different product.

    No need, it's fake phone x2 anyway!

      I think it will become global or at least to some selected markets eventually that I think it's a piece of misinformation or just a marketing strategy to induce more anticipation. I simply think it's totally nonsense to being benchmarked by DXOMark if they already decided exclusivity to China. I mean, why would they even bother to show to the global public that they achieve the top when people outside China cannot buy it?

        Xiaomi's domestic smartphone market is changing rapidly. For 2020, the budge flagship appears out of favor with buyers, especially female buyers. Relatively higher priced mid-rangers (premium mid-rangers) are "in", for their design aesthetics (thin, light, curved screen, AG processing, etc), and their special feature set, such as eye-tracking auto-focus for selfie (Nova7Pro), multi-stream video for vlog (Nova7Pro), superior night mode video performance (Oppo's SD765G based Reno4 series), class-leading motion-tracking video with gimbal stabilizer (Vivo X50 Pro), etc. As a result of this change, K30Pro is not selling as well as expected, while Nova7 series outsell all other phones, by a large margin, including the extremely popular Honor 30 Series.

        Xiaomi is liquidating the inventory of K30Pro. K30Ultra represents Xiaomi's reapproach to the budget-flagship segment. K30Ultra is better positioned than Redmi 10X and K30Pro, with the following improvements:
        - a new SoC with better thermal efficiency, and superior 5G performance;
        - 120Hz refresh rate, AMOLED;
        - Stereo speakers.

        D1000+ gives Xiaomi a significantly improved pricing flexibility. Wait for 11-11 shopping festival for some jaw-dropping pricing on this model.

              Just for comparation, Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ scores higher than Snapdragon 855

                oh come on, I was already planning to buy it (and i didn't want to buy any phone this year...ok, maybe mate40)

                    According to a Xiaomi executive, the supply of both K30Ultra and Mi10Ultra doesn't quite match the estimated high demand in its domestic market. With its competitive pricing, Mi10Ultra is expected to substantially outsell Mi10Pro and K30Ultra to substantially outsell both K30Pro and K30Pro (Zoom Edition).

                    By the way, Mi10 series has so far slightly outsell Mi9 series for the same period, but profit increase is substantial because of the higher pricing. Taking the pandemic into consideration, the higher-pricing for Mi10 Series is considered a success. Mi10Ultra is priced slightly higher ($50-$60 higher) than Mi10Pro.

                      Well i am not happy for this decision.
                      And te Mi 10 Ultra looked so superior to other so called flagships with medocre to low specs compared to this one gozzila.

                          I think this is truly a collector's edition because they aren't making any profits from this
                          that's why they don't sell this to outside China
                          kinda shame tho because the specs and the price for both phone is truly tempting

                            Xiomi is always afraid to launch its so called premium products outside china bcoz it fears backlash failure. Its probably even their best products may not be of global Standards.. its okay sometimes cheaper products need to stay cheaper only.what world misses is huawei not xiomi or bbk... Huawei is real pride of china thats why even Usa was afraid.its products especially p and Mate series are excellent. China should be real proud of them,,, i can only envy and miss them.

Huawei combined with Honor have by far the most sales here. Xiaomi with the Redmi definitely do offer the best specs for the price but Realme, Iqoo and Honor come fairly close and give them plenty of competition. It would be nice if they released more phones internationally alright

Maybe I am wrong. My GF lives in China and she said that Xiaomi sells like cup cakes because they are super cheap compared to Huawei, Oppo and Oneplus. But I am not an expert, it's their decision to make.

                                  Livius, 12 Aug 2020Isn't this funny ? Sammy sells it's trash old Exy... moreIn China there are already so many phones competing in this segment. Xiaomi has lost market share this year so they have to be super competitive to compete. This is probably the best price to performance value yet though even in China (at least spec wise) but it's not hugely cheaper than the competition. For some reason every year in China there is not great value early in the year and then in the second half of the year there are much better value offerings. This year is more cutthroat than normal due to the declining market outside of China because of Covid 19

                                    Livius, 12 Aug 2020Isn't this funny ? Sammy sells it's trash old Exy... moreThe price of 280$ is mind blowing, next year only sd 875 will cost 280$, I don't that xiaomi is making any profit from selling this phone, maybe just to gain market share, also it will kill every other smartphone from xiaomi and any other company, no mi 9, or k20 pro, or poco f2 pro or redmi 10x oe mi note 10 lite no phone fromn 250$ to 500$ or even more from xiaomi will be sold
                                    So I think that's not a bad thing especially because it is very very cheap and xiaomi don't make enough profit from it as like other xiaomi phones
                                    Try to understand that ☺️

                                      Isn't this funny ? Sammy sells it's trash old Exynos CPU with Note 20 series and now Xiaomi doesn't want to sell this phones out of China. I wonder if this is a new pattern and if other OEM's will follow.

Huawei put themselves in a bad place with the US long before night mode cameras and 5g technology was a thing. This started with the previous administration and it had nothing to do with jealousy. It was about security and it is probably the only thing the previous administration and the current one agree on. The only difference is the current administration is more vocal about it because of the trade war and the president's ego.
