Yeah right.. You're still gonna have to charge every night anyway... Or mid day if you're a heavy user.

IpsDisplay, 12 Aug 2020Lol this just confirms that sharp displays are way ahead of... moreNote 20 has an OLED display, therefore it's much, much harder to calibrate colours with varying refresh rate than on any LCD displays. What Samsung did here is certainly evolutionary if not revolutionary and they do deserve praise for that.

Fearghast, 12 Aug 2020TBH I am not really sure what you mean by Huawei and good b... moreI have those battery saving features turned off on my P30 since day 1 and I'm still having more than 8 hours of SoT after a year of usage. While those features do help squeezing the most out of the battery, their effects are overrated and the battery life is excellent even with them completely disabled. If one is having a "OK" battery life on a brand new Huawei flagship then I guess that person is using his phone way too much.

Lol this just confirms that sharp displays are way ahead of the entire industry

Do you guys know how long sharp displays have the ability to vary the refresh rate for static images on the screen

Look how long they have offered 120hz displays

They offered 1billion colors before Samsung and true 10 bit

And they are still the best for IGZO based displays

No Samsung panel can compare to the energy efficiency of sharp

And everytime you hear people say Samsung makes the best displays lolol

Too bad sharp doesn't get the respect it deserves

Berserker, 12 Aug 2020OK battery life? 😂😂😂😂 Don't talk sh*t if you haven... moreOh I have, that is why my comment is spot on mate.

Don't talk sh*t if you haven't used a Huawei device, and judging by your comment you haven't 👌

news flash ! it has been confirmed that snapdragon 865 and 865 plus capable of running s20 series and note 20 series 120hz at 1440p.guess why you are not going to get it since crappynos soc is only capable 90 hz on 1440p, sammy pulled it out due marketing concerns.bravo sammy well done.

You made some good logic there😂

All we asked for was the Qualcomm chip instead of Exynos

I don't care. I want the option to use 60hz/90hz/120hz flat on all scenarios. I don't want to save battery. I bet Apple's going to use that tech because Samsung's tech is not giving us too many options and Apple's like that, they'll only provide 3 options instead of like 5.

That intelligency too, are consuming battery.

                      Be smart.

Kristo Radion, 12 Aug 2020Better dump that Exynos for a better battery life. Try to ... moreTBH I am not really sure what you mean by Huawei and good battery life O.o
The only reason why they have OK battery is because they are using agressive battery saving - good luck with background processes, syncing, smartwatches etc. what a headache that is on huawei devices.

AnonD-923722, 12 Aug 2020Is it better than. Oneplus Refresh Rate optimization? ... moreBest is sync optimalization anyway :D
I believe Apple (on iPad Pro), Razer maybe others are using it.
It gets rid off any tearing and it's saving battery - win-win.
                          Gsync/Freesync alternative on PC.

                            Thanks for the distraction Samsung!

                              Oneplus Refresh Rate optimization?
                              Google's Refresh rate optimization?
                              And others?

Better dump that Exynos for a better battery life.
Try to use any Huawei phone to understand how a good battery life really is.
