Anonymous, 13 Aug 2020why, its a downgrade from the note 10+I have a Exynos Note10+. I Like it, but now I don't use the S Pen that much anymore, and I'm REALLY tired of the curved screen. I want flat or 2.5D screen that I could put tempered glass on it without any hassle or something like WhiteStone Dome that is pricey (I know there is ripoff on AliExpress but it's not the same, I've tried them for my Note9)

Not gonna lie, I laughed when I saw the title :D. Samsung is dead to me. All their phones use garbage SoC's (mostly Exynos) and the only alternative in Europe is Apple or Chinese e-waste.

All the complaints, while the tech reviewers and youtubers will continue praising Samsung. And I bet the Note 20 will get phone of the year award.
So in a sense, who are actually tone deaf? The people who keep championing Samsung regardless of what they did.

Read both links I have provided. Geekbench (as well as Antutu) do not tell the whole story.
Initially phones can give out high benchmark scores, but wait until one throttles.
Like on paper, iPhone 11 Pro with A13 has the highest scores, but throttles easily and has 15% performance reduction according to Gary Explains (which was blamed to be the thick chassis and poor cooling). I suggest that sustained performance is equal to a optimised SD855+ phone.
S20/Note 20 Exynos would perform like SD845 (or a little better) if I suggest. You won't notice a slowdown in general use, but if you use it for multitasking/gaming, its weakness shows.
Both phones have high benchmark scores either in Antutu or Geekbench. A speed test (like the one Gary used) should rule things out.

There is nothing bad... moreAs a person living in Europe and owning an S20+ with Snapdragon ( bought on unofficial channels unfortunately) let me lay down for you the three advantages of Snapdragon over the Exynos (I should mention that my brother owns a "regular" S20+ with Exynos, so that's what I am comparing to): 1. No overheating and throttling. The Exynos overheats even if you use it for mundane tasks, like car navigation, not to speak of more difficult things. The Snapdragon simply doesn't throttle and overheat. 2. Better pictures ( more details, better dynamic range and white balance). I suppose the ISP that comes with the Snapdragon is just better. 3. Better battery life (at least an hour more of SOT). Moreover, Samsung is charging us basically the same price for the Snapdragon and the Exynos, which is not fair to say the least. So, there you have it, this is what Exynos (and Samsung) is doing to us. Everybody should be aware of that and make their own purchase decision.

I had high hopes when it was planning to use SD865 SoC. Now they decided to use cr*p Exynos 990.
Well good luck with that Samsung. S10 Lite with SD chipset already had slow sales. Only few bought a Note 10 Lite, never seen anyone using it.
Chipset looks like a bit of neglect but it spans more than just a performance indicator.

I was so excited for the S20 Fan Edition and had made up my mind to buy it. But unfortunately I have changed my mind and now I will import the snapdrqgon version of S20+

So... moreSamsung will keep scamming people who don't know the difference people keep thinking that the exynos is almost as good as the sd 865, but they don't know how inferior the products they buy for more or the same price, and that's what samsung want because most of people don't know even that there are 2 variants so it should be happy because of selling its cheap own manufacterd Soc and throwing it to the face of people who don't know , they can't ditch exynos (their scam) because they make money from it, even innthe fan edition samsung scam
