Yeah that is crap.
I have the Galaxy S III and with quad core and it doesn't lag as long as you have power saving off.
I don't do much of those 3D games like those on adverts with the soft-control stick and stuff.
I had a Toshiba TG01 and it was pretty shit, but I used my uncles Lumia 900 and it was pretty fast and smooth.
What I didn't like about it was how you go to menu or switching through screens.
Besides that, it's pretty decent.

Plus there's the Apple fanboy bandwagon.
iPod touch isn't a category in this, it's just phone and tablet."

This is BS because iOS runs on 3 devices which are ipod touch , iphone and ipad.If u dont know iPod Touch has 4 generations. His comment which i replied is about OS but not about phone market , he says android is king with 50% but truth is iOS is number one in browser usage and marketshare as well since you didnt count ipod touch and ipad.65% of mobile browsing done with iOS and 20% done on android
    http://www.imore.com/2012/07/02/ios-claims-65-mobile-web-android-20/

Which means more iOS devices are being used "actively" while android devices are being used very less "actively"

Why am i blind ? during iPhone 4S keynote marketshare was 44% for iOS and android around 33% and now after iPhone 4S came into market , share increased and even iPad 3 came as well.
iPod Touch got ground breaking sales during christmas , which makes iOS number one still.

People want and have been told to want windows Phone 8. Nokia is going to crush android anyway.

Lumia series is number 1 and the best phone.
              Even siri knows that.
Android users are afraid when we get the 7.8 update.
THe phones already smoke android with 1 core De-throddled to idling mode.

Don;t like games anyway so don't count that as a factor for windows phone users.

                Google 50.9%
                Apple 39.9%
iPod touch came up in 2007.
                Tablets were also before Android.
Plus there's the Apple fanboy bandwagon.
iPod touch isn't a category in this, it's just phone and tablet.

Just because there may be more sales of Apple products in the last few years doesn't make Android inferior.
Android is a bit new, not much people used Android until 2010.
You fanboys must jailbreak your phone just for a font change.
Your Apple devices are so expensive.
                Even your computers/laptops.
You could easily build your own computer for cheaper, or even get one built for you.
It costs 500 dollars just to install a 256GB SSD into your iMac.
You could just buy a 256GB SSD for 250 and put it in yourself.
Your love for Apple have blinded you, I was once blinded by my love for the iPhone 3GS until my mum bought me a Galaxy Fit, a relatively low end phone.
For Android phones, you get soft buttons and the back button. That's much simpler to browse.
You guys must jailbreak just for free apps, we don't.
You guys can't flash custom ROMs and undervolt your phone. You must connect your phone to iTunes on PC just to delete stuff without jailbreaking.

IPad also runs iOS , other tablets all combined together cannot match two products , iPad 2 and iPad 3 , there are over millions of iPod touch selling , which aren't counted in this.

If u include iPod touch and iPad , iOS is number one in both market share and active browser usage.

So can I call android as inferior OS now ?

I feel there are personal and business risks in all the current smartphones. There is just too marketing of your personal lives to advertising agents and other. We only use Blackberry and hopefully it is safe for corporate use. We cannot trust Apple and certainly not Android to be secure in business first and foremost. Their experience is just like rubbing your private parts. Might feel good, but your actions are being recorded.

Android will kill itself with fragmentation in couple years. People will see that Windows Phone 8 will do the same things Android does with less fragmentation, consistence software updates and DirectX games. Developers will love WP8 because the ease of porting apps between Windows 8 and WP8. Businesses will also want to use WP8 because it has Trusted Platform Module (TPM) built in chips with Bitlocker and Secure Boot.

for this environment i consider two approaches valid:
                                  - bring your own device + policies + liability agreement + self support + multi-platform policy agent etc

                                  OR

                                  - blackberry

Anything in between is just a hole in your system and a recipe for overhead
