I thought Samsung dropped ToF in favor of Laser AF system.
Here we're hearing a new story.
They dropped it because there isn't much of a use.
Is that true at all ?

I reckon it sounds better if it's called galaxy s30, not s21. There must be a reason why they skipped the whole s11-19

Oh boy. Have they seen what Apple is planning? There is a European company with over 20 stops dynamic range TOF on sensor technology from 20 years back. If they could use that for mapping contrast in photos aswell, it will give a big advantage to them. Just the current version needs some adjustments.
