Meego is an obsolete linux base software, not in use. No applications, no good sales, no ecoenvironment. Nokia must focus in upgrading symbian belle FP2 which is a much better environment

Another scene in Nokia suicide play.

    I'm so sad and frustrated.
    Who has the same feeling?

One thing I can't understand is how Nokia can kill off Meego but keep Symbian alive? It's quite nonsensical.

The only thing Tizen has in common with the N9 is they both run Linux kernels. The software stack above that bears absolutely no relation. They're not even running the same distro.

Those guys are super awesome!! Give them what 1 Ghz processor, 1 gb ram and just SGX 530 and see the results

                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43uerOfOTz8

Out of this world multitasking. Even Android with dual cores, quad cores, exynos, tegra, heck even 2 gb of ram still cannot achieve what they have done. Shame now that Android is not facing any threat thus letting them continue to loiter around with the toy OS. The future would have come faster with the Meego team on the helm. Sadness...

By the time Nokia decides which OS to go for, the company will already be bankrupt. Nokia you are suffering from indecision. I think Nokia should stick to making java phones which are in the lower price range. Not everyone wants a smartphone, many older people just dial and recieve calls. Nokia suits them perfectly. N9 is a good phone but really expensive, people who can afford a N9 can surely afford an iPhone. Nokia you should realize that the competition is not only for features in a phone but also its price tag.

davis, 04 Jul 2012a disappointing end to a brilliant chapter. n9 and meego on... moreDefinitely. One of the best looking devices of recent times mixed with the fluent OS that is Meego. This really shouldn't have died the way it did.
