Although android is very poor in comparison to what it needs to run it, it is still by far the best running current os. But, MeeGo was a brainchild nokia should hold on to because lets face facts, although WP has done ok in america, and i stress OK, look at market shares and you will see the big picture... Android, followed by Ios. they are the facts, and wether it performs better or not, give the people what they want. Otherwise, you have to lay off loads of staff, ie nokia and RIM... Need to start making profit boys, dont go under because i like you. But until then, i will just run my "underpowered" one x that is only beaten in benchmark tests byt the GS3. And nothing else....... Android may not be efficient as it should be, but still better than anything nokia has

I think the Maemo/Meego team came a long way in a short time. When looking at the resources Nokia spent at the time the Symbian budget was SO many magnitudes larger than what was spent on Maemo/Meego. Still amazing what the team achieved. Theb when the N9 was launched it was held back in a strategic mistake made by Elop. I can see the shift to WP8, but not selling an already ready product on the major markets must have been a major mistake.

meego is based on linux kernel and open source OS. Actually nokia don't like open source things but like closed source like WP for his arrogance

I had a Nokia N900 and now i have a Samsung Galaxy Note. People you should know Android sucks! N900 with a 600 MHZ single core cpu can run 32 program synchronously without any lag but 600 MHZ cpu for an android device is nothing. also it needs more than 256 MB ram to work properly. You should spend a lot of money to bye an suitable android phone.

The microsoft marionette Elop is bringing Nokia down. When he came to Nokia he couldn't wait to bring MeeGo and Symbian down. MeeGo is such a great OS and I strongly believe that Nokia made a mistake when they made the decision to go for Windows Phone. When we look at the previous months then it's clear that Nokia never had such bad annual statistics. Microsoft marionette is a blind chicken!
