Nokia 3.4 spotted at Geekbench with a Snapdragon 460 chipset

20 August 2020
The 460 packs four A73-based cores, four A53-based cores and an Adreno 610 GPU. The result is a good deal higher than the Nokia 2.4 achieved.

    FOREVER!
Just look at N73 or N97; both are capable smartphones, but bottle-necked by Nokia's cheapskate decision to give it VERY underpowered CPU & low RAM size.

Even their last 'great' masterpiece, 808, was bottle-necked by Nokia (consciously, of course) by only equipping it with MEAGER 512mb RAM (Android at that time already have 2gb RAM, dual channel) and ANCIENT ARM11, SINGLE core CPU (Android at that time already use QUAD core ARMv7 Krait which is based on Cortex A15!)

See how cheapskate Nokia has been since ... forever?

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2020SD460 for 3.4 is something better than SD660 for 7.2 Nokia... moreLOL...
Both CPU & GPU of SD660 is better than even the SD665 & SD662!
Especially GPU; Adreno 512 is capable of supporting games up to QHD, while Adreno 610 in SD460 is very likely to be downclocked version of Adreno 610 in SD665/662 which only support FHD+!

Not to mention Helio G70 which has 2cores Cortex A75 are much more potent than aging Cortex A73, with cheaper price than SD460, SoC-wise!

          Nokia the return by HMD:

Cycle1: Nice, let see how it goes. Got the first Nokia6, the passion and performance dies out soon on it already aging SoC

Cycle2: Look promising, but I'll give it a skip, let see how it unfolds next round

Cycle3: Still no cigar, too many key compromise

Cycle4: Are you serious? Would've be better if HMD unlock the bootloader already

          Cycle5: I give up

Cycle6: So many niche and low-end device... To keep the company revenue going? And what this forever delay of product?

          Cycle7: They still alive?

XRT10, 21 Aug 2020In the last 7-8 months HMD made so called "Nokia"... moreThat's correct. HMD phones top the Geekbench leaks but hardly make it to the market.

That's good news for Nokia 3 series. Now don't go and put 6.5 inch HD+ display.
HD+ should be strictly for under 6 inch phones.

In the last 7-8 months HMD made so called "Nokia" smartphones can only be seen in the Geekbench , none of them made it to the shelves.

SD460 for 3.4 is something better than SD660 for 7.2
Nokia is habitual of using old internals on a new mobiles and there isn't any benefit of it and price is too damn high. They have to get rid of this habit. Nokia is another sheep in the herd. They don't have any unique features compared to any other mobile brands. All they have is just average phone shown as incredible one.
