HTC releases unaudited report for Q2, revenue down by over a half

unlike before they are starving their customer with new updates...i have htc desire hd and still waiting so long...:( shifting to samsung galax III now

      guys it's not the sd card or the design but when u launch new models such as desire v, vc, vt which cost 320 euro (without taxes) and they can not even compete in specs with phones like neo v, sola, ace 2 etc wich cost so much less the reason is obvious. they think their products are better and this more than clear in their pricing strategy.

          I hope they learn something from this. Business 101 : the consumers are always right. The new One series of phones are great but they chose to do what Apple did and took away the SD Card slot and removable battery. That was a major deal breaker for some of us. They also messed up by introducing the Beats earbuds and then taking them away. Wake up, HTC, you're not Apple. They have more loyal customers who are willing to compromise, but Android users are used to freedom. Why force me to use cloud storage that requires me to use data to access my files? Have you checked data prices lately? What if I'm in a place where I don't have reception? I think you should have thought of that before trying to push your product on us in hopes that we are stupid enough to buy whatever you give us.

              I m not surprised.
              Keep things simple htc.give phones with removable battery n sd cards.it's more important than anadised aluminium/micro arc oxidation/polycarbate body.
              And keep the price competitive.

                Their not innovating, their phones all the look the same and some phones have really poor build quality.

                I think their profits will keep sinking until they start making phones each different and unique

                  That's a shame, I always thought they made nice products with their own design style, unlike Samsung phones that lust look like a copy of everyone.
