People who buy Apple are just enjoying that ecosystem.
Also, there are a lot of people in the World right now (I don't know exactly the number, but it will be nice if someone will help me with this), who still have iphone SE 2016, iphone 7 or iphone 8 models. Not much of a status symbol this phones.

Furiounx, 24 Aug 2020Eh not a big deal. IOS already looks and feels smooth as at 60hz.Yes it feels very smooth but not with apps, WhatsApp, Facebook and YouTube needs to make their apps more smooth otherwise for me iOS software is much smoother in performance.

Then The difference between IPhone 11 and 12 series will be so less that it won’t make any sense upgrading. Only two factors now can drive the sale of iphone 12 is 5G capability and the smaller and cheaper iphone 12.
Iphone 13 will be awesome with truly port less, notch less body and 120 Hz display.

I'm using both daily and both are very smooth. In everyday use i'm not bothered with the 60hz iPhone when using it, even when i use 120hz iPad every day.
