iPhone SE (2020) now assembled in India

Locally assembled second-gen SEs are expected to hit store shelves in the coming weeks.

When Apple had announced iPhone SE (2020) back in April 2020, it costs $399 in US which converts to around INR 30K. But with an excuse of local taxes (import duties and customs charges) Apple set the price of INR 42.5K for base model. Unlike US, we won't pay premium price just for that shining Apple logo on back side. Now they must have realized that in this Covid pandemic condition and price sencetive market like India, people won't pay that premium prices. So within 4 months after launch, they have reduced the price upto INR 35,999 for the Apple Days sales. Although, they won't be ready to pass on the benefits of Make in India to end user by lowering price, eventually, withing next 3-4 months, by Diwali festival, they will have to bring the price close to US price if at all they want to sell their products here in India.

                    As an iPhone SE 2020 owner, let me say this device is awesome, simple and up to the task. Don't care about what people says about the bezel or the LCD screen. Its not important because the phone is working like a breeze. Besides, nowvin these covid days touch ID is a must instead of face unlock. The only major downside is the battery. Unless its on power saver mode it will extend the screen on time to 6 hours maybe with regular usage like scrolling Instagram and calling. And let me say playing games on the device is crazy fast and amazing graphics thanks to the A13 chip and above HD screen. I highly recommend this device. Also it has ip ratings and wireless charging. And fast 18W charging speed which is fast enough to fill the 1800mah battery. The best budget high-end device imo.
