Bloated software slower updates and just whole a plain mess . And security what are you high most phones are extremely secure .

For everyone else, most phones are secure enough, I mean I'm using mobile phones now since the mid '90s and not once was my phone compromised or hacked into.
I really wonder what some of you do with your phones that you need those security updates as urgently as you make them sound? Performance, stability updates sure, but security, the least of my worries on the phones. If someone wants my data, they will get it regardless through the carriers.

HDR is a freaking standard, plus samsung got the 10 bit hdr done in by s20

- all screen are calibrated, but not all phones let you adjust RGB levels according to you taste. From 0 up to 255 for green, red and blue. By the way, no android phone comes with best calibration out of factory.
Why does it matter though? How many users actually know how to calibrate their phones? plus there have been default color settings on phones since eternity to set display to your taste. No one bothers to actually alter RGB levels unless he is shooting a film professionally. If they are, they are using a camera anyways

m8 launched before z2, and did better bokeh, extra camera or not, it doesn't matter. No phone really launches with 1 camera except pixel 4a and iphone se, so this one is pretty moot

You are jealous because samsung only copies other since s5 and xiaomi does nothing new. Got credits for using design from sharp 2 years later than sharp sold their phones.
Or maybe, I'd want Sony to sell as many phones as PS, which they actually can, since they literally have best components for it. They were afraid that phones might cannibalize/marginalize their other systems. Those guys literally started trying to integrate their other divisions to phone this year. If they had done so since last 5, they'd sell as much as samsung and apple. I want their phones to be better, not just weirder. It is pretty simple to make a good phone when you have best of cameras, audio and gaming in house! why can't sony grasp that

Runs on basic (Vanilla Android) which, granted back in the days would have been positive. Nowadays? Vanilla lacks any advanced features on other UI.
Granted hardware itself is very nice. But at that price? Go with Apple or Samsung. Apple for privacy concerns, Samsung for better features and support. Hell, even Pixel would be a good option (too bad they are not going to do high end but might as well cu high end Pixels sucked too)
Oh, and as for commends about LDAC and bluetooth, I'd like to ask if they even used two Sony product (e.g. walkman/phone with WH-1000XM3). Because I use WH-1000XM3 and I have to turn LDAC off to get better latency.

This phone looks a lot more appealing to me than the 1 II(stupid name btw). 4k resolution on a tiny screen just doesnt make sense. Full HD+/120hz over 4K/60hz any day
