In other words, for the same price, 5G phones will be better spec'd than 4G phones; and for phones with comparable specifications, 5G phones will be better priced than 4G phones.

The availability of $100 5G is assured before the end of the year. The next question is: When are we going to get our first $70 5G phone? With some luck, we may get it before the clock strikes 2021.

Just wait for the cheapest mobiles they are really near! Just be patient

Boring really. Much better options in this price category. My head is literally spinning with the sheer volume of handsets being released by xiaomi/redmi/poco. It's total overkill and just confusion for consumers. Choice is one thing but saturation and overproliferation of the market is another. No manufacturer should be releasing more than 10 to 12 models a year. Three flagship grade, three midrange and three budget range. Xiaomi have released more than 40 models this year. It's insane. Redmi note 9, 9a,9c, 9s, 9 pro, 10x, 10x 5g, 10x 5g pro, mi 10, mi 10 lite, mi note 10, mi note 10 lite, poco f2 pro, poco x3, k30, k30 5g, k30i, k30 pro and just many more besides. It's stupid.

It's supposed to be a "mid range" phone... But it is a 4G phone. All mid range and above should be 5G now
