For this price, it's better to wait for iPhone 12 or get iPhone 11 now, or when it gets cheaper after iPhone 12 launch

Davy Jones, 01 Sep 2020What about Indian pricingAsus is usually reasonable with their pricing in India compared to other brands.
The Zenfone 7 Pro with Snapdragon 865+ will cost roughly Rs 49k for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. There will also be a model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for roughly Rs 40k.

ROG3 is currently slotted between OP8 and OP8 pro (all 8Gb variants). 7 might be priced just below OP8 6Gb variant. This is given both 7 and 7 pro launch is India. Asus has generally been reluctant in launching all variants of its devices in India.

T.Bennet Benny, 01 Sep 2020Y not Indian users🤨I didn't really class Indian users as international users bro. I mean they are because they're outside of China but because Xiaomi is bigger in India than Europe (always has and most likely always will be) I just thought Xiaomi would push updates quicker and faster as opposed to European users

Asus need to curb the price of both 7and 7pro in order to survive the cut throat competition created by realme, one plus and iqoo in India.
It should bring the phone with low price point in order to sweep these bigger players, especially OnePlus 8and 8pro. The price point will be decisive in the success of Asus not only in India but also worldwide.

The price in Sweden is about 775 EUR for the non pro version and 872 for the pro version.
That's a shame since I want to replace my 2 year old Xiaomi phone and the Zenfone 7 was the only interesting phone for me so far but not now at this pricepoint. Have to wait for more phones to get released.

I guess most will go with the vanilla, only the enthusiasts who want the latest specs (and those who take lots of photos or videos).
