Anonymous, 11 Jul 2012Funny coz I've got an unbranded GalNex in Australia and it'... moreYou must have bought it from one of the telcos. They are unbranded but still rely on telcos for updates.

peter pan, 11 Jul 2012No use releasing jelly bean, when most phone's are still on... morebeacuse ICS is a MAJOR update, many many of its core system has changed from gingerbread. thats why it ook much much more thime than froyo to gingerbread.
unlike oter company that just add update facebook status button on their drop down menu, ICS brings many2 improvement over gingerbread. and all the devices that have gooten ICS should be able to run jellybean smoothly. there is a freedon in adnroid, even galaxy s i9000 already smoothly running ics and in developmen to jellybean, but its not samsung who develop them. if you wanted your device directly developed by google, buy nexus, so the case is same with iphone and apple.

No use releasing jelly bean, when most phone's are still on froyo or Gingerbread. And most of them cannot be upgradeable to due stupid reasons from Google. People complaint that nokia won't be able to upgrade to w8, but only gets a refresh of it. At least that's something. but when your phone is stuck on gingerbread, you won't be able to jellybean, and ics also.
