Boggy-Stefy, 02 Sep 2020Not trying to be bad or something, I think this is good off... moreI had the Zenfone 3 and it worked very well. Loved it. Then I got a work phone iPhone 8 and gave the Zenfone 3 to my mother, she is still using it and works fine. After 20 months, there was a screen glitch but it was fixed at guarantee. Now the phone is 3.5 years old and looks as new. Great that it already available in the Czech Republic.
Just checked and now it is available also in Latvia. For the first online shop prices are Zenfone 7 866 EUR and Zenfone 7 Pro 950 EUR. Not what I was expecting. More like Pro to be priced at 800 EUR. Let`s wait and see. Sorry for the offtopic. :)

If a phone can receive an update containing 9 improvements in which that phone was only released globally 24 hours ago then I feel that Asus rushed the ZF7

The 5 year update system of iOS is a giant scam. You get latest features 5 years late on an average. Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things current iPhone can't.
iOS 14 finally got an app drawer and fully functional widgets, Lol these are things that existed on Android a decade back.
Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.

Not trying to be bad or something, I think this is good offering for 800EUR (7 Pro price in Czech Republic). But, I wonder how will this phone receive software updates after 1.5 - 2 years?
Yes, is a pleasure to use Android phones in the first few months (talking about the flagship ones). Then, pause, nothing. Software updates are rarely coming, and when they do come, they tend to break things instead of fixing things.
Especially with this second tier companies (like Nokia, Motorola, Lenovo, LG, Asus).
So, my question, is it really worth this Asus flagship phones? Even if the price is 100-200EUR lower than the competition.
