I requested the termination of my Apple account years ago but they refused. There is no privacy and anyone who falls for this marketing is either mentally limited or delusional.

Whatever they do, whatever they claim, they are forced by LAW to include backdoors in their devices, that's Patriot Act, their fight with the FBI is just a stunt show to pretend there is no backdoors, which is great for their sells and great for the governments who get more potential peoples to talk more risky subjects next to their phones.

Apple offers more privacy (slightly) but these days (as shown by Gary Explains) unfortunately it's no longer a secure OS with increased amount of users. Just like Android where there are many security loopholes here and there. Time has changed.

Apple has limited its own self with by having a hedge... Therfore apple is seriously limited by its own making.
Android... Is actually far more secure. And can be made even secure than apples 64bit encryption. Android actually offers the highest encryption possible on a civilian phone. Even at certain military specifications.

Meanwhile at Apple Authorised Service: "If you want your iPhone fixed, we need full information about you and your device so we can order the replacement part. Otherwise we can't get anything from Apple to fix their devices".

They are not at all secure... Not at all... Israeli firm NSO already hacked the things years ago. And tapped into lawyers, journalists and human rights activists whatsapp stuff on iPhones. NSO gave the keys to middle eastern countries too...
Also all govenments have backdoor access and real-time monitoring and surveillance using tools based on machine learning AI a bit similar to Sherlock ML which is used by govenments and banks. So places such as GCHQ and Croughton and many other places have access and record every single thing you do on your tech gadgets. It really doesn't matter if you use a VPN or Tor... National security pretend that they don't access your information. But the truth is they do...
Apple is lying to you... It is possible that Apple itself does not collect your information... But govenments are entitled to store everything for about 10 years. Even your phone calls are actually recorded. I know this information as my dad was a former counter intelligence official.

No one is forcing you to use a smartphone. If you’re concerned about privacy don’t use one. Apple is a private company and can do whatever it wants with its products. /thread

Load of nonsense. There's nothing much to know about me or most people on this planet for that matter. We're all just trodding along waiting for Goddo to be totally honest, just doing the best we can to get by. You can't use half the apps out there without giving permissions to these apps to collect data about you. Facebook, apple, google, amazon and the rest, don't care about any of you or me. You're just a walking wallet in their eyes and whatever data they can get to be able to maximize the return on investment, all the better. They don't care so get with the programme, make yourself an open book or throw your smartphone in the river.
