I really enjoy my OnePlus 6T and want to upgrade but I really don't like curved screens because they cost more to repair and I have small hands. I hope the 8T goes back to a flat display.

I prefer that flat display over the curved, I'm still sticking with my Mclaren Edition 7T Pro but I'd still wait for the 8T Pro. Phones this year aren't too exciting. Therefore, until today I feel nothing is worth an upgrade.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2020rip batterylife 120hz is so overrated...I am getting 8.5-9hr SOT on my OP8 pro with 1080p@120hz.
Was getting 7-7.5hr SOT with QHD@120hz.
Don't care about unnecessary QHD resolution on such a small screen unless consuming some form of media which is QHD or above.
Once you go to 120hz with 240hz touch sampling rate, you never go back.
Every other 60hz device feels outdated.

I came from Note 9 after hearing good reviews of the A13 chip and camera of iPhone 11 pro Max. But iOS soon started to become a dealbreaker. It's only later after using the phone, I realized that the beast of a A13 chip is bottlenecked by the software.
No way was I going to buy a OnePlus 7 phone series as camera was lackluster compared to my Note 9. OP8 on the other hand has flagship grade camera. So it was a no Brainer.
Was actually looking to buy Oppo Find X2 Pro but it wasn't available in my country, so went for the OP8 pro. Ended up being a super cheap buy for me.
No regrets!

Cheap quality is cheap quality. I am not using it. Surface pro passes the bend test. Premium quality is premium quality.

I am using debloated stock ROM with all the analytics and spying removed. Every other user (Android or iOS ) is at risk by default.
No ads here, no secret downloads either.
Don't care whether Op7 pro cracks or not as I don't use it.
Your problem is that you have become a brand f*natic. You can't handle any criticism against your favorite brand. I don't care about using cheap quality products irrespective of the brand they are from.
OnePlus.... It would need to get inside your home first before it goes into the dustbin.
But for that you need to upgrade from your 50$ smartphone from some unheard brand.
