04 September 2020
All iPhone 12 models will support 5G, but the sub-6 variety. As for the Pro Max, it will have mmWave in only three countries.

        Anonymous, 10 Sep 2020I'd say you have a point when comparing even speeds on... moreI think they have to get 5G right due to the extensive and far-reaching implications and possibilities of 5G such as increased AI-driven vehicles etc. They can't afford to screw up here. The latency needs to be abysmal hence the need for thorough implication and servicing of 5G equipment.

        But you're right - we don't have any guarantees and they will probably screw up sooner or later. That seems to be the norm when implementing new technology. I don't think 5G will be the biggest hurdle - that will go to 6G which needs terahertz frequency band, novel atenna technology and network topology and increased use of AI in wireless communications. In other words with 6G you need to create new tech completely from scratch - you don't have to do that with 5G.

          Anonymous, 05 Sep 2020In the end Android is better again. In all aspects.And yet the majority of profits are shared with Apple. Android popular because it hits multiple price points and spec demands from fans but otherwise iOS is almost on par in popular western, affluent countries.

My Note 9 was faster even on wifi compared to my iPhone X but then can someone please point out to me the current percentage of coverage for 5G? Manufacturers be popping out phones like kids with 5G stamped all over it but networks don't share the same enthusiasm and that is because of its a fad. Only needed in built-up areas. Networks can't get 4G coverage right, what guarantee do we have they get 5G right?

                  iOS was always very buggy. Definitely not the "stable" system.
                  And the updates are pure comedy. Outdated at best. Getting features 10 years late.

                    you know whats cool about mmWave 5G? as a matter of fact, same applies to low band;

                          My S20+ has a gorgeous sAMOLED display, no annoying notch, super fast charging, reverse wireless charging, microSD slot and better cameras. Samsung also started delivering their updates MUCH faster so don't give me that "iOS gets faster updates" nonsense lol

Gaming p... moreIts true that Android EOM's have gone above and beyond with the spec, features and enhancements of their mobile phones at half the cost of an iPhone. Well they should be doing that because they need to prove something and need to get the share of the android world. Apple is different story they already have established their status and even if they lack of something compared to Android EOM, its their own software IOS that's what makes them on top. Android its just android lots EOM's lack of software support from manufacturer, because they intentionally do that so that their new products would sell or else they wont make money. End the day they will be doing what apple is already doing once they get on top.
