One of the first smartphones - even though back in its day it would have been called a "palmtop PC".

Not for me. Coming from Android, I'm so jealous of just how fluid and memory-efficient Windows Phone is. I have an Android phone with more RAM and running custom ROM and I still experience some lag. Sorry.

I remember when I first saw the N93, later the N93i, I was saying to myself:how great is Nokia. When I saw the N95, I was proud of Nokia. When I saw the N97 I said what a beautiful phone they made. They had such amazing products. Too sad they was sticking to Symbian OS when they should have switched to Android in 2009, 2010. To make business with Microsoft was their biggest mistake. That Nokia from 10 years ago does not exists anymore, just only a fraction.

I'd say that is a welcome mistake. If it wasn't because of that, we wouldn't see Windows Phone and I might be forced to stick with Android forever.

Not one I see who owns it totally utilize the whole phone to the max. All I see is mobile gaming, YouTube, and app splitting, that's it. Not exactly productive if you ask me.

Thankfully, there is a real spiritual successor to this Nokia courtesy of Planet Computers. What I like about the Cosmo Communicator is that you can even run legit Linux OS in it. Here's one running Debian: https://youtu.be/s1j05dCU6Fc

Vishal C , 06 Sep 2020This phone reincarnated as Samsung Z fold 2😉😉Yes. And Samsung has truly made a superb business and productivity tool. Once foldavles start hitting the $1000 mark (maybe 3-5 years from now?), one would realize what amazing innovation the foldable phone is.

The Sheer range of Designs from Nomia was staggering. And some of those phones were masterpieces. The iPhone and iOS actually brought the downfall of Nokia, along with Symbian and a slow to adapt and slow to chance perspective. And then they adopted Microsoft for smartphones, which was disastrous after Symbian.

Nokia could be back in the game, if they get a sue0rb product design team. Nokia hasn't been able to find or create its USP since its decline.

I have several models of this series.
9110i, the battery would fall off and the phone would reboot often.
9210, this was great and introduced us to a great version of Bounce and Rayman. Much improved.
9300, very good but smaller key layout, Still working today!
9500, like the 9500 but with wifi and a camera and better keyboard leyout
E90, better wifi and camera but Series 60 does not suite this design, keys were very hard to type on. This still works also.

This design continues with devices like the Gemini (Did not get one).
