There's nothing more the US government can do. It's also on its last legs. They will be pressured into allowing MediaTek, Qualcomm and Google to work with Huawei eventually.

So for example mediatek will make some chips, but it will be with american tech, so banned from doing that
Basically bans any company that uses said american tech/machinery to do trades with huawei.
No more samsung panels, no more kirin chips because they use american tech, no more nothing. Just slowly dying

Nvidia just announced their next gen graphics cards so it's unlikely to be one of those. Most likely a Ryzen APU.

Which is in about 8 days. Until then they have to produce the gpu for this laptop. Maybe it's one of those rtx 20xx series, since those exist for laptops (again, there are gpu's with the same name made for pc's and laptop's, and ofc I'm not "insert insult here" to belive that one of those desktop gpu's will be put in a laptop, as my gtx 1070 is thicker and wider than my laptop). And europeans won't buy amd less gaming laptops.
Yes intel has secured that it will be able to sell it's cpu's to huawei, but that means only high end gaming laptops, without a gpu, and laughable integrated graphics, not even vega graphics or extremley expensive budget laptops (compared to the performance of other laptops). And they will have to use intel's integrated graphics
No more luck for huawei with europe with all those problems

Still no OEM is able to launch a similarly-priced competitor to the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 which comes with Ryzen 9 4900HS & Ryzen 7 4800HS variants, but is mostly out of stock 🙁..

Andreidinutu, 06 Sep 2020Intel makes better top tier chips. It does make more expens... moreThat's just a misconception. Intel 'used' to have better product at every tier since core 2 series to skylake. AMD was not even a competition when bulldozer architecture was being used.
Intel milked customers never increasing the core count or increasing the performance per core by much.
They sold chips knowing that there is security issues with the hardware. Over 232 publicly disclosed security issues on intel vs 16 from amd and most of them don't even apply to Zen architecture, but all intel chips (before the 10th gen) at least are vulnerable. And patches would cause reduction in performance. And not all intel issues could even be patched.
Now intel has always claimed that their chips are more secure. You were made to pay more because they claimed superior security. They also used to claim that their chips run cooler, which is also false when you compare zen vs core.
Intel has created a misconception that their chips are superior through years of marketing stunts. Ignorant buyers only know i5 or i7, they don't even know about intel or amd. This is especially true when it comes to laptops.
Intel is not superior in anything other than single threaded performance and overclocking and at the expense of increased power consumption and reduced number of cores. They just lie to you hoping every consumer is an idiot who'd rather be convinced that he has not been tricked into buying and inferior product at a higher price than understand their lies.
