              seems i have to buy 2 phones. an huawei to support huawei, and a samsung m31 i think for my bank apps. as little american goods as possible.

                  This is big and good
                  1. Google is monopoly and practically a tech god the only other option is practically Apple which is not vast enough
                  2. Giving a tech giant an opportunity to rise is bad
                  3. Competition is good for us consumers and given it's a all or nothing for huawei, they'd move mountains.

                              Only difference is that OnePlus and Xiaomi sell for cheaper price at the cost of making less profit. Sony always shoots themselves in the foot by pricing their models high.
                              A company cannot afford to do this especially when they are failing to sell many phones and have non existent marketshare around the globe.

                                        Should I wait for this to be available in mass production along with my aging Mate 20? So far, I haven't found any better alternative from other OEMs equipped with Google apps.
