But one thing is for sure.
Apple phones are much long lasting than samsung phones. I have a samsung galaxy s2,my brother has apple iphone 4s. We both bought it at the same time. His phone is working smoothly. My phone is hanging a lot. And besides apple phones look more classy than my samsung ones. Samsung will never match up to the headphone sound quality of apple. Both s2 nd 4s hav a 8mp camera. But the images of a 4s is better than s2.
Apple also has I-Tunes,where you can find al songs. But android market doesnt hav such an app.
Besides applictions of Android market nd App store are almost the same.
And besides i have come across many Galaxy note users whose phones are hanging.
Apples battery however sucks. But 2 cary a 5.5 inch giant with you is a little difficult compared to a 4.6 inch iphone.
Overall i think that Iphone 5 would be a better pick over Galaxy Note 2. :)

Pentile displays get jam. Note getting more display issues. So Galaxy SIII is the best one with no error. Galaxy Note also got two time display error.. Samsung's best series is the S series..

Just a little totally unrelated side note on the note...anyone running android 2.3.6 still, try going to settings and where it says which androod version you are running, keep tapping it if you are running 2.3.6 and it will take you to a picture of a zombie gingerbread man beside the android and a bunch of zombies! It says picture by Jack Larsen...

Alright! It's about time for yet another star from Samsung. The Note was great to use, but after months of heavy duty and phone bashing usage, it begins to show signs of slow down in performance... lags a bit, hangs occasionally... hopefully Note 2 has improved battery life as well

samsung releases so many models because it targets a wider audience, its not like apple who releases only one model per year and as usual, the only people who buys their phones are those who have money, see I have a S3, my other friend who is a little under-budget has a galaxy s II, and the other has a galaxy Y... thats why samsung is the major phone manufacturer...

Look for sales figures for that particular device and amaze yourself how well accepted the device is. fail? lol I think you have more chance to fail in life than this device.

They did it before when they wouldn't allow anyone else to license their software and had to be rescued by Microsoft and they'll do it again.
All this talk of 'smart docks' that will only allow connection with 'approved devices' made by official Apple partners is a terrible idea. Everyone I know has got at least 2-3 non-official Apple devices (loudspeakers, car fittings etc) and if all of these are rendered redundant by a new phone, then they aren't going to upgrade - period.
In addition, what do you think an 'approved Apple partner' is going to charge in comparison to a perfectly sound but unlicensed product? I'll bet prices for official products are going to be more than a little higher and Apple will find themselves quietly losing ground.
Sure they make great aspirational products, but in this day and age - and especially if they want to conquer China, India and Brazil - price is key and a new iphone that costs $500 is just going to be out of reach of 99% of the world's population.
At this point - and we're pretty nearly there now, Apple will have to compete directly with Android. At the moment they can kid themselves that they're in a different market, but they're going to have to produce low-cost phones and tablets in order to keep market share. I foresee a 'developing world' variant of the iphone with lower specs and lower cost being discreetly pushed before long, followed by cheaper ipads. If they don't do this, they'll find that every teenager in the world is using Android and they're left with an aging and declining market share.
