To me, Samsung charging a 25% premium over similarly spec'ed Chinese OEM phones is perfectly fine. Heck, the same company (BBK Electronics) charges huge premium (50% to 100%) for some of its sub-brands (Oppo S/F/Reno, Vivo V series phones) compared to its own other sub-brands (Realme, Vivo U series phones) and even more than Samsung phones. Your opinion about brand value can different, which is fine. It is just a personal opinion, and nothing else.
I didn't even talk about the performance difference between Realme 7 pro Vs Samsung Galaxy M51 because the difference would be minimal and won't be visible to the end user.
And another point - If you think (assume) that I am a Samsung fanboy, you are absolutely wrong. I have NEVER owned a Samsung smartphone yet. I am a Moto fan (Moto G2, G3, G5 plus and currently G8 plus), but I am entitled to my own opinion of brand value, as much as you are entitled to your own opinion.

I think this is a solid competitor to the nord. 5g isn't widespread yet so it's not that important
Nord has a better processor though but 730g is not a bad chipset and would be perfectly okay for playing games(Cod mobile) and running day to day tasks.
The battery- no argument here😂😂
The display- Samsung has the best mobile displays and this is also a Super Amoled Plus display, 90hz would have been cool at this price though. Pretty sure the m51 has a better display😑
Cameras - let's wait and see
Build - almost everyone uses a case
Fingerprint sensor - in display sensor or side mounted, your choice. Both are fast on both devices.
Charging speed - 30w to 25w , close to 3000mah difference in battery capacity more than makes up for this
And with the m51 you also get the sd card slot and headphone jack
A better processor would have been appreciated at this price range also

The only difference between a Chinese and a Samsung is that the former sends data to Chinese companies, maybe later on to the government. And although I don't trust the Americans either, Samsung is still a better bet.

Why are Indians getting bothered it doesn't have 5g!!! Guys even the spectrum isn't up for sale. We don't even know which bands are coming or if the current 5g phones will support it. So save money and get 4g phones. By the time 5g network matures, 5g modems will get more efficient.

This time Sammy nailed it almost. But RIP A50 and A70 series. A50 and A70 series just have better build than Mseries. I am still rocking with my A50.
Too many mid range models in their kitty. They have to chop the poorly performing series and start providing 3 years support for all models.
Competitors offer better specs, but wrt reliability and overall performance, I stand with Samsung.
