Remember there's R&D(Little improvements and breakthrough that cost a lot), MARKETING, different taxes on every country, Transportation fee, salaries of employees, software developers, customer service, retailers profit.... And more... I think they earn about $150-250 per phone

That the difference between the somewaht 550.00 and the final cost of 1300.00 goees directly into samsung's pocket? Do people line outside the factories to directly pick the devices up? Think, before babbling ignorant idiocies

A joke that Samsung actually earns more devices per sold than its closest competitors, Apple and Huawei.
Others like Xiaomi only earns 5% profit per device sold (in China).

It actually throttles quickly under sustained load.
Dimensity 1000 Redmi K30 Ultra's Antutu score drops by a lot (final score was like 440k). Putting aside a SD865 Realme X50, the Realme retained a higher score (I forgot by how much). Comparison is in Youtube.
Mediatek chips tend to have weaker ISP and cannot be rooted otherwise may be bricked.
And remember Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G also comes with Exynos, and their in-house chips are cheaper. Samsung just profits a lot.
Even Apple does not gain as much from iPhone sales.

So Samsung making more than double for their margin and you guys are happy? I guess Samsung is right for using plastic (cheaper) for the Note 20 and charging more but no accessories for the Fold 2. You guys are happy giving more money to Samsung. Hilarious.

Samsung mobile is doing excellent, as it is. It just needs to keep innovating in the camera department. Their OLEDs and customer experience is already great. They need to ensure that they maintain the market lead. The new A and M line seems quite promising.

Samsung needs to hire people from Apple's SoC (actually processor) division. The Exynos tram downsizing the Mongoose core team was an excellent decision. But Samsung needs former members of the Apple Team

Not only is the X55 modem expensive but it also causes more battery drain.
No wonder Mediatek Dimensity is available at cheap price and offers throttle free performance with battery savings.

Discounted already by 200$ so now it's 1100$ in the U.S with a better processor while here it sells for over 1400$ with the Exynos processor. Shame
