Some of the concerned users got plenty of GOOD comments about it. Well if you'r talking about UI, MeeGo has the best UI and awesome multitasking if you know it. Yet WP7 is the smoothest after all. WP/symbian/meego don't need a "project butter" just to make it lag free like your beloved lagdroid. Silly.

There is no need to bash Nokia, diferent users have diferent prefernces, but it looks like majority of the negative coments coming from users that do not use this phone. WP 8 will not run on older phones due to the kernel type. The system cmae thru a major change it is not like Android 2.0 and 2.3. It is more indepth change. There is plenty adroid phones that do not receive any type of support after year or so, maily form the budget series. Nokia also unveil several apps for the Lumia line. There will still be support for the phone not just upgrade for WP 8. The price is great for the quality that you will get, there is no need for quad core CPU the operating system is very fast and responsive on the lumias

The 7.8 update when it comes is really close enough to be rounded up to be called WP 8
So we get WP8 in a way anyway on our hardware.

                              This is great news.
Sales are going great and this shows it.
This is the best smartphone on the market.
Buy this and help prove Elop is still right in never going with lag-droid or us needing quad-lags chips.
Tegra 3 gaming sucks and just is fragmentationering users. We don't want that chip on our phones.

Phones are prone to fragmentation because there are hardware requirements for each SO that can't be meet by old hardware. For example, my Nokia 5800 is not able to run Belle because of hardware limitation... but it is a four years old phone! The problem with Lumias is that these phones are not that old. Lumia 900 was released three months ago. What is the reason for it not being able to handle WP8? Gosh! Nokia has to found a real CEO pretty soon! Why on pete's sake would someone buy a phone with a dead OS who doesn't allow bluetooth file transfer, doesn't have mass storage, has a confusing phonebook, let alone the lack of a memory card? From these limitations, only the memory card can
