Anonymous, 12 Sep 2020yes , samsung seems to be just doing whatever the hell t... moreThat what I say everytime to peoples, smartphone manufacturers doesn't listen to customer requests, and it come down to the fact that everytime there is anything out of the ordinary, peoples need to complain about it and clearly state they don't want it, but not like they don't want to own such thing, but rather they don't want it to happen at all.
So there is not a single easy to spot wished feature as it would be a nightmare to sort out those who complain for valid reasons and those who complain just because they need to complain.
And I am not talking about already released features like the punch hole, but rather proposal, design concept and other idea.

Their camera decisions is also not that great, with extremely small resolution macro and depth sensor and other sub 12MP sensors.
For the battery, as I often say, there is no points on making a smartphone slimmer than 10mm except for some occasional models to giver diversity for those who really prefer thinner phones.
Thinner phones is like IP rating, it is something peoples think they want, but in practice it isn't really useful and actually have quite few downsides.
A phone thicker than 15mm is starting to get into "too thick" territory, the ideal thickness probably being at 12mm, now that will make bigger battery capacity and also allow for more features while having an excellent cooling.

They should allow the user to decide between the two chip, they could have developed specific things for the Exynos, making it particularly adapted to the Samsung ecosystem and really well optimized for their hardware, giving customers a reasons to choose it, but still allow both SoC on every possible markets.

AnonD-909757, 11 Sep 2020Flat display and 3.5mm Jack, Samsung is starting to get the... moreyes , samsung seems to be just doing whatever the hell they want to do , it's not all bad ,
but there are a lot areas that consumers have been crying out for change for sometime now and samsung just ignores the public and goes their own merry way..
The vast majority still want a 3.5 mm jack , a flat display , and it goes without saying battery sizes at least 25 or 30% bigger.
and of course the best Android processor on the planet that was clearly the snapdragon 865.
Samsung does a lot right in their flagship phones but these easily fixable items piss potential customers off and lose them sales because they won't listen to them.

        Seriously samsung
you are scamming other markets outside usa and s.korea by giving that shiiiityy exyneos process which heats up like hell and performs like its 2018
i made a mistake by buying s20 + exynos version at full price i regret it every single day of my life while using that heater

It should come with One UI 3.0 based on android 11, to compete against Oneplus 8T.

Why is it called Fan Edition where it doesn't have a headphone jack which is what the majority of the fans need?

Shady69, 11 Sep 2020how many versions are they planing to make? and why the hel... moreBecause diversity maybe ?
Along with the Note 20 this is the only smartphone with an ultrasonic FPS and a flat display, and the only of the two having a Jack port.
If anything, there isn't enough smartphones models et clearly not enough diversity as many users are unable to find their preferred combo of devices because most are basically copies of each others, this is probably the least adequate phone to complain about it being "another one" as it is the most different of the rest.

how many versions are they planing to make? and why the hell are koreans overpaying and buying pretty much everything sammy makes.

Flat display and 3.5mm Jack, Samsung is starting to get their sanity back.
Though they still have the useless hole in the display, lack of biometry (unlike the S8/S9) and too thin body with too little battery capacity, maybe with time they can go back to the right track ?...
