My suggestion would be to skip phones launching in the next few months and wait till first few months of next year.
Jan-Feb will be the time when everyone can get their hands on Snapdragon 875 devices with X1 core. That is a huge bump in performance.

OMG... More models... They are not updating 7T as frequently as they promised. Oxygen OS is going to die.

Sorry man you're right
Yes it's the best phone we have seen yet.
Let's hope it won't misunderstand the "bang for buck" saying with a "bang bang boom"

Andreidinutu, 12 Sep 2020The nord is quite good bang for buck if you ask meIn all honesty, I'd rather get Realme X7 Pro then from their sister company... They are all kinda rubbish software wise since they all run Android and all have crappy long term software support.

I've given up on OnePlus now. They are full of crap. Constantly deceive their customers. Displays are defective and now their only strong point (software) is copying Samsung of all companies.

OnePlus used to make a flagship killer and that was it. Then they started making T models as refresh in between and now they just pretty much went full Realme, just shi**ing new models every few months that aren't even particularly great value (I mean full on plastic Nord with mediocre chipset and camera is nothing to write home about for the price they are asking). Sigh.

I wonder what kind of improvement OnePlus would do with the 8T Pro if that is officially happening. To be brutally honest, I'm struggling to see which area the 8 Pro needs an improvement. Looking back at the 7T Pro, all OnePlus ever did was to include the slight-overclocked SD 855+ and add another 85mAh to the 7 Pro's battery capacity, and that's it. Not exactly a real significant upgrade if you ask me.
