                        Seems like Samsung Galaxy A51

Similar design to the Realme x7 pro and it looks like it is using the same screen. Overall they are very similar apart from the processor. Would expect the camera on the 8t to perform a bit better than the x7pro too

Would the image quality be more similar to the OP8 Pro or the OG OP8?
The Pro's IQ has been reviewed as almost flagship standard by a number of sites / techfluencers, so the OP8T would be a great upgrade from the OP8 if it is closer to the Pro in terms of photos.

leVinchy, 15 Sep 2020Ah yes, my favorite sensor and camera module; the 2mp Depth... moreWell, even though it isn't that much of a great resolution, the 5Mp is quite a huge leap from the stupid low 2Mp many insisted on for so long, the Poco F2 Pro have a 5Mp Macro.

*And the quality difference between the crappy 2Mp Macro such as the one from the OnePlus 8 :

*Or the 2Mp one from the Motorola One Macro (Ironic name for a phone with a crappy 2Mp Macro camera) :

*Or the good 48Mp Ultrawide of the OnePlus 8 Pro showing the good quality but poor close focus distance of the wide/ultrawide and Macro combo :
                                    https://www.slashgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/macro.jpg

*Compared to the incredibly awesome shots the Poco F2 Pro with his 5Mp 2x optical zoom macro deliver :
                                    https://imgur.com/a/Fi25ixA
Make no doubts as to how this 2.5x resolution increase greatly improve quality.

Of course a 8Mp or even 12Mp Macro would be way better and the way to go, mainly considering that a Macro (or any other camera type) is all about the lenses and any 12Mp sensor that doesn't cost much more than 10€ to 20€ (literally I can find the Redmi Note 7 Rear 48MP Samsung S5KGM1 + 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 at 30€ on spare parts websites) would gave amazing shots, it is a shame they aren't evolving.
But clearly the 5Mp Macro is a big leap forward already.

For the ToF, well, 2Mp is crappy, the way ToF are made, sensor wise is actually easier to make than a regular RGB camera, and low resolution ToF are only useful for industrial applications, but not for photography, so yeah, the ToF, using a Flash LiDAR type, could and should be at least 12Mp, I don't know why they insist on putting a 2Mp ToF (or even worse with Samsung and their 0.3Mp ToF 🤣) despite it clearly not doing anything really significant, simply because there isn't enough depth data resolution to really work with...
