just having a beer, 15 Sep 2020The look may be the same, but that doesn't mean it is ... moreFrom a business point of view, US is totally right, china companies have been banning us products in their region for years, eg google play services that’s like the essence of google, and their most centralized service system for data collection, China doesn’t want us spying on them why should us not ban huawei? From a business point, US has high tech, China can recreate and mass produce even more than Us, do you think any competition would favor us? The only selling point they have is high quality, and there’s more people who can’t afford it than people who can, who do you think the mass producers sell to? There’s a whole country’s interest vs moral interest pick a side

It’s not only the resemblance of buds, it’s also their case which also charge them, the whole set is just being a copy of Apple’s AirPods. OnePlus as well as many others copy Apple’s ideas, only bother to make a little change so they can say that it is an ... original product based on an original idea but everybody knows that there is nothing original, just a copy. Personally, I would be confused if I see those buds in a shop, I would think that they are by Apple.

salarx, 15 Sep 2020Apple, always the cause of some controversy. Apple did not instruct US authorities to confiscate those earbuds.

salarx, 15 Sep 2020Apple, always the cause of some controversy. Can you please attempt to explain how, in any way, is Apple involved here?

Uncle Sam is 'out of control'. This hatred for China is extreme and unwarranted. There will be consequences for sure.

Next to Huawei, OnePlus will be the prey.

Or would you say that Apple headphones looks the same as wired headphones that were present for decades, except the cable-should we ban Apple then? The fact is even if the pods looked 100% alike would not be illegal unless they tried to sell them as Apple Earpods! Also its suppose to fit human ears so what other designs would you go for? The one with rubber at the tips which just falls out? I had the BRAGI ones and they had no thing on the side to support and keept falling out while also having the annoying rubber!!! :

They are losing the plot lol 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

I hope the US stop these shitty design entering their country!
Maybe, my country could do the same. These buds are hideous.

It's a design that's been synonymous with the brand for a long time. These buds weren't seized due to confusion, but on technicality of the copyright law.

Maybe it's time everyone moves on from this silly q-tip design.

Well how can we blame them it does looks like its copy cat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why facebook is not allowed in china? why no twitter , no watsapp?.

just 1 lot of earphones seized, not banned and all of sudden America is stupid and illegal. But everyone wants business, market share and the dollars. duh
