Again that Exynos 9611!!!!!I have doubts that Samsung has manufactured tons of 9611. Now to consume them they will launch new phones.

I got an a40, an exynos 7904 on a fhd+ display. It runs pubg quite badly. It gets to about 41 degrees.
A motorola one macro, p70, hd+ runs pubg on high settings, unlike the exynos one, which runs on low, very well. I don't really know what temp it gets to, but more than definetley under 40 degrees.
Mediatek is better in temp aspect

People should not but Samsung midrange until or unless they don't give any reasonable upgrade. This chipset is used in already like bunch of there phones and series. Even if it's a camera centric phone why would one buy this instead of so many phone with a good camera plus better performance like Poco X2 or Realme 6 or 7, hell even redmi note 9 camera is good with gcam and with better processor. You can now use gcam to make any phone a camera centric. At this point they are milking just on the brand name. Just throw some bs and see samsung fans going crazy for it and defending it.

I can forgive them for using it on low to mid range devices but even the flagship Note 20 Ultra packs an Exynos when the SD 865+ is clearly better. To make things worse, they provide the Qualcomm chip in only certain regions

If we had the greatest and latest software opt, on a 665, it would be worthless (of course pics would look better than the majority, as it would be the best, but the 665 wont show a gram of what it could do).
If you put an a13 on a budget motorola phone (let's say that motorola has an 108mp sensor), without sw op, it again would be worthless, but this time much more than the other, as that sd 865 would bring no contribution, worthless...

It's about the phone having enough processing power for the price, and the 9611 seems a bit underpowered and outdated by now. Well a chip isn't everything in a phone, but then again, who wouldn't like a faster phone ?
