That Exynos might pretty much end up being worse than Mediatek unless they make some serious changes to Exynos architecture.

go buy what you want and you can live happily ever after...
i do have a phone as cheap as nokia asha 202 and as expensive as sony xperia z5 premium... and paid for a more expensive sony xperia 1 ii, waiting for it, since it is an import...
so what have you got there? for sure, it fits your lifestyle... you should be happy about it... :)

Seems like an almost perfect phone, but I cannot find much details about the software. Is this an 'Android One' device? Are current Sony devices stock Android or is there a skin? How is Sony doing with updates these days? Thanks for any feedback.

You are the first person I've heard complaining about it not fitting inside a jeans pocket.
OP8 pro camera is an all rounder, on par with other 2020 flagships.
Infact, Sony's lackluster image processing puts its camera performance a notch Below S20 series, note 20 ultra, Find X2 pro, OP8 pro, Mi 10 ultra, etc. Though it is better than OP8, Zenfone 7 pro, ROG 3, Poco F2 pro, Motorola flagship, etc. The above fact is confirmed by multiple tech Youtubers, Tech sites as well as Sites like DxOMark.

Why are people arguing with frustrated teenagers here? No reason reply to frustrated claims.
90% people don't have $500 laying around to spend on a new phone, so they either buy used or finance it if they live in western hemisphere. 99.9% here have never bought a brand new $1000 device period so arguing about such pricey devices makes no point. People like to convince themselves they made a good buy so praising their Realme, Kidme, Meeme or whatever as better or equal piece as something they cannot have is just human consumer nature.
