        Partnership with AMD is delayed until 2022.

            I'm still waiting for a revised version of the good old SD630.
            8 Cortex A55 cores running at 2.5GHz manufactured in the newest 5nm fabrication. How cool would that be for endurance-centric phones?

                ok manufacturers need to ditch exynos. Especially samsung is involved in scummy marketing practices. Advertizing the SD version and selling the exynos one. Hah EZ 50€ additional profit from mislead consumers

                  What would be approximate GeekBench score for Snapdragon 875?
                  Antutu should easily go past 750k.

                      Nothing to do with lighting. This isn't slow motion video that detoriates in quality without proper lighting.
                      Never had softer output for 60fps videos I shot from previous phones like Galaxy Note 9 or iPhone 11 pro Max or my current OP8 pro.

                        - tvs use 30fps
                        - movies are 24
                        - 60 fps requires better lighting , also all phones have softer footage compared to 30fps.

                          Finally I'll upgrade to S21 or something else with the X1 core.
                          Few more months and I'll say bye bye to my beloved S10/ROG 2 combo.

                            Hopefully Samsung makes an Exynos with 2 x X1 Cores and 2 x High Performance Cores (A78?). They could use that in a Tablet for high intensity video and photo editing.

Both will feature the same ARM cores. Samsung has killed it's own custom CPU team. So next year, the Snapdragon and Exynos might in fact be quite close to each other in perf and in power draw (same node, same cores). The big differences, IFF any, will be in the DSP and modem parts.

                                  Nice, but can they run GTA 5 at 60 FPS ?

                                    We heard it before ... and before ... annnd before as well ... Exynos will be great, we know ...
                                    It's hard not to get fed up by PR and crushing, disappointing, reality year later.

                                        That's it.... These are all going to be mothers of an SoC... Just crazy. When these SoC's are available... Smartphones will be able to become mini Servers.

                                        The A78 is a gamers dream already... Add an X1 and the phone could become actually too powerful.

                                        If I had an A78 with X1... I would donate it to the zoo to live amongst lions... A78 & X1... King of the urban jungle.
