Putting the buttons on the side rather than the bottom of the front is much more ergonomically sound if you're considering one hand use. It's interesting that it has volume though!

cant imagine how slow this will be. they should'a opted for the a55 or a75 n perhaps made a box version with better cooling.
but i know its not about user experience its ALL ABOUT THE MONEY so i digress.

With cec pretty standard these days most devices will turn on when the Android tv stick is turned on and volume control can be done through the Android tv remote as well. So why the need for an ir learning remote? I much prefer Bluetooth these days. For what is left with ir or Rf, I use a broadlink Rf/ir hub to automate the other stuff using tasker (that also runs on android tv although much better on android).

I use android tv app from my phone. Annoying but it works. I will be getting this in the hopes it will be a compatible remote.

IR requires direct line of vision. With bluetooth it works without line of vision. Also bluetooth allows voice commands and you can use it for gaming or something.
My samsung TV has a bluetooth remote same for my LG C9 and apple tv and firestick. IR does feel like a very outdated technology but it does work for cheap and it's better on the batteries.

Personally I don't think 16GB storage is enough. I think it should be 32GB if it's going to have access to all the Android TV apps. You can't have too much storage.
But having ridiculously small amounts of storage is commonplace among Android TV boxes and Firesticks

Its about time TV manufacturers put USB C ports, makes it easy to comnect devices including dongles which otherwise need external power!

From what I see, the remote is not IR. This way it won't be compatible with my logitech harmony remote. That is a big no-no to me. I like having a single remote for all my 4-5 devices.
