Hate iPad, don't buy. Just get a tablet suffer the lag and bad os.
Ok with iPad, buy a good NAS one time big time and gimp on the storage.
Having all my media in the NAS, means i can access on all my devices, android or apple does not matter.
SD slots are meaningless in mobiles. Maybe if you are the type that travels often or your country have junk internet. But by then, you would invest in a good portable hdd.

This iPad has been the same aside from display upgrade starting with iPad 7 but the chipset. Bluetooth is still v4.2, same 1.2mp selfie cam (important in tablet for vidcall), same wifi ac. Same 3gb of ram. Sigh.
Yes i know it's 299 and still the best tablet to buy in this range. But, at least they should upgrade the selfie cam with the one from iPhone 6s (5mp) if the 7mp from iP11 is still too expensive for them. And BT5 + WiFi 6 is also important.

Ipad is still the best tablet, no android tablet can beat it but 32GB storage will burn in no time in 2020.
How hard is it for a billion dollar company to give 64GB as base model or add SD card slot? I don't understand why apple despise micro sd card so much.

I want to buy it over Air 4, for the 3.5mm. But then prefer to buy Air 4 because of fully laminated display on Air (iPad 8 still has air gaps).

Without expandable storage 32GB is really useless in 2020. In April this year, they had launched iPhone SE with 64GB storage, then why only 32GB for iPad?

also 32gb is plenty for students wtf do you think they install? GTA 5? Zoom, Meet, Classroom, Office suite and Notability shouldnt take more than 10 to 15 GB
