i think you have handeled acer laptop badly , my experience i have purchased acer aspire 4736 on 9th October 2009 , even now everything is working fine even battery backup is 1.40 hours.. even now
other companies for exemple
1- HP - heating issue
2- Dell - everything is fine but if Acer is giving same in low price then why dell???

I hope they'd put the hotspot function like the alcatels, Price range of $200-250 USD. Tis phone would be king of the droid duals

AnonD-63747, 21 Jul 2012based on my own experience acer quality is not good enough,... moreagree with you! my loptop only lasted almost 2 years! the technician says that it has a problem with its motherboard! :( but i hope there phone wont be as bad as their loptops! because this phone is really nice! the lenovo P700 phone looks ugly especially the place of its camera! i hope they could release another phone that doesnt look weird!

this phone will be very superb! especially the price tag! LG L5 will be the hardest competitor! but its not a dual sim! lenovo P700 will be the direct competitor of Liquid Gallant Duo since they both run ICS and 1ghz processor and 4" display! but i hope they launch this phones world wide! i like the philips phone too! especially the battery! this one only offers 1500mAh battery but lenovo P700 and that philips phone offers 2400mAh battery! but the lenovo P700 looks ugly because its camera was burst out! for the philips phone that im talking about.. here's the link! but its only available in china and russia! http://www.gsmarena.com/philips_outs_the_dualsim_w732_android_smartphone_huge_battery_inside-news-4510.php

based on my own experience acer quality is not good enough, i had 2-laptops it was last only for 2 years.

I think this will be a hit in Philippines,because at that price range(about Php 8,000).Few phones dominated that price range,only Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and nothing more.It's dual-sim capability is a plus and it's dual-core(I hope that will be a TI OMAP 4430 chipset not MTK)
BTW,the Android version is not said.But better if it will be ICS than Jelly Bean because there's no flash support for JB.

The specs are not very impressive, nor should thay have to be at that potential price range. BUT, it has a large screen, 1GB RAM and 1Ghz dual core MTK 6575 on a not so big 1500mAh battery. . . and dual active? Say goodbye to battery life time and hello charger - a faithful companion to this phone.
4GB internal storage og 5MP cam is to be expected and OK in bugdet models.
But at it's price on can't complain, if it will cost £150 at launch and later reduce.

In dual sim active phone, other sim call is on waiting, when you are active on first sim.
