And what's the problem with heat? Uncomfy on your hands? Doubt it. The hottest my a40 got was 50 degrees. Zooming, charging at max brightness. It was hot but you could still hold it.
And temps, what about them? An amd gets to 70 degrees, intel fans consider it cold. Intel goes to 85 degrees, and at that temp amd would be long gone. I don't get your problem with higher temps

an a40, exynos 7904, 3100mah battery did very very well on the battery front at the beggining. I could get through a day of heavy use no problem. I rarely killed it
A black shark 2, sd 855, 4000mah seems to perform much worse. I haven't ever used it as my main phone, but it gets killed after just a few hours of pubg.
Yes it is much more powerful, but the battery and fabrication process should catch up to the a40, and it doesnt.

It might me faster but it will be hotter and will drain a crap tone of battery, because exynos burns through every battery faster than snapdragon equivalent

Many ignorant people below. Exynos was faster than Snapdragon between 2015-2017. Then Snapdragon was better from 2018-2020.
Exynos could very well catch up or surpass Snapdragon again. That's what happens when companies compete.

meh, I'm not that impressed. because it sounds like the Exynos 1000 is just clocked higher, like the equivalent of what Qualcom will release later in 2021 with an 875+. and I would bet the 875+ will beat the Exynos 1000 by an even larger margin. that said it is good to see Samsung is producing better Exynos each year, competition is good for all.

Faster on raw computation speed, but what about GPU, hardware management, AI, codecs and all other in-chip features and softwares ?
That's why it make no senses to say a chip "is faster" or "slower", like the new A14 who on raw speed is not that impressive, but for everything else may blow every other chips away.

Actually folks... It's very possible that Sammy could actually make and A78 core faster than Qualcomm... However... Samsung may also have a different X1 Custom core to Qualcomm... This is exciting... I really hope Sammy bring out an ultra powerful gaming phone... Please...
