The device has great combination of features..the 4000mAh battery along with a fast processor and 6.6 inches of screen, all of these makes it a great device and good for buying.

The K42 have a really bad camera setup, the main 13Mp is good.
But the "super"(ultra) wide at 5Mp ?
Literally, wider mean that for having the same details per object on the same scene, you need more pixels than a more general purpose camera, the wider, the higher the resolution should be.
And 2Mp Macro and Depth ? Better not put them, because at those low resolutions they proved a while ago that they are useless, the 2Mp Macro give an horribly bad quality, even bumping up to 5Mp like the Poco F2 Pro did with his 2x optical zoom 5Mp Macro already give amazing quality, and there isn't enough data to be gathered from a 2Mp depth camera...
On the other hand, the K71, despite the same issue with the ultra wide, the 5Mp depth sensor is a first I think, and it is a good thing, maybe both Macro and Depth will start getting increasingly higher resolutions until they finally reach the good quality 12Mp for the Depth and the high enough detailed depth map with a 12Mp Depth sensor.
I really hope they bumped up the algorithms too and that we will see a big difference between this 5Mp Depth sensor and the other 0.3Mp, 0.5Mp and 2Mp ones everyone insist on putting so that peoples finally realize that the problem doesn't come from the Depth sensor itself, but rather from its extremely low resolution.

Livius, 21 Sep 2020Why is everyone using this horrible Samsung A series design ?Because it's not samsung's design. Honor v30 was launched with this design before samsung

Don't forget to mention that the K71 is basically a Stylo 6 with more RAM, more storage, and higher resolution cameras on front and back.
