The only thing that I dont like about this phone is the usage of the older gorilla glass 3. But then again I have not been able to find good comparisons with the newer ones.

I'm actually considering this. Not the new camera but still excellent.,SD865 (ffs Samsung, not Exynos variant on Asia), stereo speakers, amoled (is it HDR10? 120hz?), And if the price is true at 699, then i might choose this over iPhone 12.
This will be absolute winner if Samsung can also provide 3 years major upgrade for this one (upto Android 13) considering Android 11 is available now but Samsung won't use it until S21 coming
Samsung's price on Asia is having direct conversion without any tax (it's included), but iPhone is priced with really huge margin here.
For example, iPhone 11 is priced the same as Galaxy 20+ which is ridiculous.

And I agree, I used to buy flagships but no more. Removal of the headphone jack and card slot are dealbreakers for me.
Won't ever buy a phone without those.

I think it is going to be priced aggressively as their note and s series phones doesn't do well in many markets and there is hardly any mid range phone in 600-700$ bracket which sells well. They can easily price it around 650 $ which can make it very compelling device.

It's solid package if comes at right price...
But apart from price I'll only but it if shamesung doesn't launch with laggynos 990.
