      Obviously the 690 will be chosen.

      They do not have interest in 7xx series.

        Umm.. Guys help me understand this. 750G uses the newer Cortex A77 design which is better than the A76 used by 765G right? But 765G is supposed to have better graphics because it has Adreno 620 while 750G has Adreno 619? This is supposed to sit below 765G but isn’t it newer so has it’s own advantages?

          Qualcomm has no answers yet to mediatek dimensity. Dimensity 820 is by far the best midrange chipset now.

            While I appreciate this new budgety 5g chip, but wait what, Xiaomi again, at end of the year? What kind of new phone they will spawn again after Poco X3? It's like they spawn new phone every single month.

              Xperia 10 Mark iii

                This will probably be on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite

                  AnonD-949291, 22 Sep 2020wow things are changing fast...sorry for those who bought x... moreNahh not gonna bother us. Phones coming with this SoC would be at least 100$ more expensive than those with SD730G or 732G. Even in comparison to my $300 SD765G phone, mine is still faster in graphics department, which is much more beneficial in daily use than a mere improvement in CPU speed.
                  Either way, spending on these great value mid rangers with solid performances is still better than wasting thousands of dollars on phones for features that most users wouldn't really need in real life.

                      mmWave is only available in a very few places in the US. Are phone vendors going to bother catering to those places?

                        Qualcomm's answer to Mediatek's new midrange 5G SoCs :-
                        SD690 = Dimensity 720
                        SD750 = Dimensity 800U
                        SD768 = Dimensity 820
                        Rest are old ;)

                          Excellent. Anything that helps towards performance and price sensibility for the gamer and premium mainstream user is a bonus. And knowing that you have a perfectly capable SoC that can handle high refresh games is also great... And even greater in times like these when people might want a gaming device capable handset. And a really good price...

                              Should compare with snapdragon 732 in table (instead of snapdragon 730)

                                Steonger than 730 but cannot handle QHD screen.
                                That's bit odd.
