Smallest upcoming phone from Apple to be called iPhone 12 ‘mini’

Apple will be releasing four iPhone 12 models and we might have an idea to what each one will be called.

Your always bashing it in anyway possible. You don't say anything good about android right?? Both Android And IOS are good. And In my experience I think IOS is for people who like their stuff functioning out of the box, and Android is for people who like tinkering their phones. In my preference, I choose both they both have their pros and cons But they are both good OSes to use. It's based on what you like in a phone honestly.

                Good idea give people lots of choice. if you cant afford top tier iPhone 12 you can get the mini model. good old Apple.

Right now using Galaxy S10 (s10+ was out of budget). Screen Fhd is okay for me but should be oled. My main concern is battery which is 3400mah but when I am capturing lot pictures, draining very fast. What is purpose if you are buying mobile for good camera and battery will be die bef you last click ? Last but not least I bought it because of knox security. My phone should be secured. And for that my choice is either Samy's s series or Iphone (no max) or Pixel.

                            Andreas, 22 Sep 2020Long time iPhone fan here (from iPhone 4 to 5S to 8+ ending... moreyes, i read all you said, at the moment i'm using an Iphone SE 2nd gen 128gb and i'm quite happy, i bought it almost three years ago and still use it on "power save mode", is more than enough speed for texting, browsing, some calls and small games, couple of months ago had a new battery because the original was getting old and here it is! hope it lasts al least 2 or 3 years more! before this one, i had an Iphone 5 16gb, working perfectly after 5 years but memory was making me crazy, i still turn it on and use it every once in a while and it is alive!! but only 16gb wasnt enough and bought this one, i was expecting a better Iphone SE to come but couldnt wait any longer.. so, i like small and light phones, if they are cheap, then its better!

                              Not mini but foldable or extendable is the solution... 3.5" closed opens to 7... And all connectors on the side Or top so that you can rest the fone down while using...

                                  booby, 22 Sep 2020Thank god for Apple and their decisions. 2021 is going to b... moreLong time iPhone fan here (from iPhone 4 to 5S to 8+ ending with the 11 Pro Max a couple of months ago. The 8+ and Pro Max were both too wide for me to comfortably use with one hand. After selling the 11 Pro Max, I used the old 5S for a few weeks - making me realize that I appreciate smaller phones (by the standards of today).

                                  Since then, and especially after using a low-priced Motorola Moto e5 (with Android 8.0) for a few months, I know exactly what features I want, what size I would feel most comfortable with, and what I can afford. High-resolution OLED display and good cameras matter as well (which is why the Moto e5 is just temporary).

                                  Currently, I'm looking at the Google Pixel 4a, but it isn't available in Sweden. Hoping to see the upcoming Pixel 5 arrive here as another possible future phone for me. Without the Pixels in Sweden, the next model on my wishlist would be the Samsung S10e - which honestly has everything I want.

                                  One thing I need to write is a general "thank you!" to all YouTubers and tech bloggers who have made long-time tests of the S10e and the Pixel 4a - I have watched a lot of them and really appreciate knowing that there are other people out there that see the value of good specifications in smaller models. In several cases, testing the models side by side to see which one is the best phone out of the smaller ones.

                                  Through this process, I've learned how to use, customize and like Android (which I couldn't do a few years ago). I haven't left Apple behind for good, especially not if they launch an iPhone 12 mini with the lovely design that the new iPhones appear to have. A few years ago I was dreaming about a new iPhone SE based on the 5S size but with an OLED display similar to the iPhone X that had just been released - and the 12 mini renders look like something like that.

                                  Anyways, I am a nobody having opinions that noone cares about. I'm looking forward to the releases of the Pixel 5 and the iPhone 12 models. As it is on this very day, I have no idea which OS I will end up using the next couple of years - and that makes upcoming launches really exciting.

                                  If anyone manages to read through this comment and have the same feeling for smaller non-flagship models (regardless of OS), I would love to read how you have made (or will make) the decision of what model to use as your daily driver!
