The Chest Band is more precise than any optical heart rate sensor, even garmin, apple or polar watches, because the chest band sense the electrical function of the heart directly, while the optics (PPG) sense the fluctuation of the blood flow, and the movement of arm and vibrations of every step while you're running affect It.

The last has incredibly many statistics about heart rate, calories, sleep, steps and exercise. Also many options for notifications. I don't have the pro version and still works well.

I'm not arguing the question, I'm just sharing my thoughts regarding the question.

GTR(1) has an issue with weather sync from the software in the mobile phone (Zepp) to the watch. It doesn't work automatically. I (and several other users) wave several times sent this information to support, who has answered they would look into this. Nothing has happened yet. I will not buy the new GTR2 before I know it doesn't have the same problem. Otherwise this is a very good watch with excellent battery time and absolutely price worthy!

This translates to roughly 2.5 - 4Gb if an mp3 file is 4 - 7Mb. I wonder why there's no smartwatch with at least 8Gb? It should be easy enough to achieve with a little difference in price.

Ah this is perfect, GTR is being sold in my country for the same price so I guess I'm going to wait a bit before GTR 2 comes. I want blood oxygen sensor on my next smartwatch.

I'm using a GT Watch 2, but would happly go back to Amazfit, Huawei apple like software control is a pain, with Amazfit, third party apps and full control is a thing

So it has worse battery life than the normal GTR? this says "up to 14 days of endurance in normal usage scenario and up to 38 days in basic use mode". The GTR had 24 days and 72 in watch mode with a SMALLER battery....
