No headphone jack is a big letdown for me. I got my hopes up when Samsung said that they have been listening to their fans, but it looks like it's gone for good from Samsung phones, unfortunately. I guess I'll stick to my Note9 for another year.

Also, considering that S10 Lite and even M31s have 25W bricks in their boxes, including a 15W charger in the box is strange to say the least.

These aside, at €730, this is a pretty compelling phone. 120Hz HDR10+ AMOLED without any curves, microSD, IP68, wireless charging, the useful trifecta of cameras, Snapdragon 865, plastic back (read: shatterproof), stereo speakers, all that at this price point.

Even the Exynos 990 variant is a pretty good buy, considering that it's actually cheaper than its Snapdragon counterpart and the performance in real life applications is about the same.

                          It is a fact.

Does not mattermif any of their chips have better benchmark.
Qualcomm has better cpu, better gpu, better isp and better modem.

Qualcomm gives them option to offer users 4K@120 HDR video, 8K video, faster 5G connections, support for high res displays/faster storage and ram memories.

How many phones with mediatek get more than 1 new version of android?

I love this phone. Finally a flagship main camera with a flat OLED screen. The 5G version even has an SD865. And all that for 730 €... I'm pre-ordering the red one! I've been looking for a new phone for more than a year now. I cannot stand curved screens, but I want a good camera, so this is perfect for me.

I'm interested in buying this but need any confirmation regarding the software support. Keeping this until 2023 seems sensible.

Just as we feared Samsung. I have been looking for a replacement for my S9+ and was eyeing on this. But it seems Exynos is coming over to my region judging by past records and 5G availability here. It's a shame, really! I'll look forward to official release in my region and if it's indeed Exynos, then it's time to say goodbye to Samsung. All the other specs are pretty good but the choice of chipset is gonna ruin it all.

Maybe OnePlus 8 pro or pixel 5 will suffice my needs.
