if I'm correct there is a feature known as Assistant Menu for Samsung phones with One UI 2.5 that gives you a floating icon with access to tools and navigation options.

This one hand peration+ module/add on is simply great, I blends perfectly into the OS, in general, the goodlock suit is really, really useful in all regards

The issue with the interface of this foldable smartphone is that the top status bar, which would take advantage of the very large display to show a large amount of both status and notification icons (the latter being extremely important to the Android experience) suffer from the punch hole cutting it in an highly inconvenient place, putting the punch hole on the corner would have been a way smarter decision who would have way less affected the symmetry.

Of course the better solution with such device is to remove the front camera entirely as there is conveniently a second display with its own camera already there, even better is the already available main cameras, which would allow using those way better camera without requiring additional space wasting and uselessly costly additional cameras which is why the concept of the Mate X is way better.
I don't know how the interface look in the Z Fold2, but I hole the punch hole doesn't get too much in the way of the status bar.
