AnonD-46703, 20 Jul 2012plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz announce JELLY BEAN for HTC sensation X... moreTechnically...even if the Sen XE can handle JB, HTC might not do it. For a simple that they want you to upgrade to their newer devices (like majority of manufacturers do). Perhaps the Dev community over at XDA can come up with some JB rom for your XE.

In no time at all, once the One S gets updated, the Sensation series (4G, XE, Normal) will probably see a healthy amount of JB Custom ROMs with one or two bugs bu almost full functionality. Just like there are Sense 4.0 ROMs working for Sensation at the moment, I'm pretty convinced Devs at XDA will immediately port One S ROM to Sensation. Looking forward to that.

Is HTC crazy? There is no excuse not to upgrade the sensation series and other phones less than 2 years with capable jellybean hardware. I have the sensation which was HTC's flagship long ago. If the sensation does not get upgraded,my next phone will be a Samsung.

Im till now was a proud owner of HTC one v but after reading this news feel betrayed. U dont look down to the wishes of ur old customers jus like the way Nokia did it. One time Giant now a mere ant. Moreover its google who is making us fool releasing mere useless updates with new codenames and higher hardware requirements. Noway android is more efficient than windows in terms of its OS hardware requirements.

Friendz i hv a htc one v but this typical behavior of HTC will do nothin gud 4 dem bt to lose their beloved and priceless customers. The next phone i will buy will surely be of a brand who loves their old customers, HTC high time u shd think else it wont take much time for us to play the tune we played for Nokia, one time giant now an ant.

What about sensation and other phones ? looks like this will be one and only update HTC will provide for One series because in in a quarter or so they will launch their Two series and next major update will be reserved for that.

Though I am a proud owner of HTC Desire S - this response from HTC is typical - they cannot yet provide the ICS update for most of their phones as previously assured. No wonder they are reporting losses, whilst Samsung who frequently provides phone updates to their customers are doing well.

i'll wait for RIM BB10, that platform will provide everything : stability and security of BB10 for business usage and an android player for the gaming part.
