Moto G9 Plus in for review

I've had Motorola plus phones for around 5 years now and would like another as they do what I need at a good value. However the growing size means this time I probably won't. This is a personal choice and I recognise many prefer bigger screens. What I feel Motorola should do with the number of variants they do of each model is do a model which is smaller, even if they need to sacrifice battery size to go this. Don't mind if they sacrificed a camera as well, rather keep things simple but effective.

      I would say finally screen size are correct!
      I've had the Sony Xperia ultra, HTC one Max, Motorola Nexus 6 (and nexus 6p). After using these devices, using a 4.8 or 5.2" display sucks.
      The Xperia ultra had a 6.44" 16:9 display, and I loved it.
      Now I use a Moto g8 plus, it has a 6.3" 19:9 display, and it feels small. So I'm really happy with the increased size! I've already ordered the g9. :)
      (I'm not very happy with the g8 camera, looking forward to both more display, more battery and more camera).
      And I must say, this is the last chance I give Moto. I almost bought a Samsung, because much better camera. But I hate Samsung, so... I was actually going online to order a Samsung when I noticed the g9 was right around the corner..

            Anonymous, 27 Sep 2020Well,many people want large screens if you don't like ... morewidth is okay for me but could be a little shorter, I prefer 18:9 screens, so if it was 1080:2160 with the same width, then the body would have been 160 x 78.1mm but the thickness is a big deal!! 9.7mm is too much for a phone, Yak! and the weight, NOOOOOOOOOOO, It's a brick!!!

              I want to know about the Moto G9 plus audio quality; is the soud clear and loud without distortion with headphones?

              The Moto G8+ has good audio quality, same for my other phone, the Moto x4; for me, audio quality is a deal breaker, or maker. What do think?

Next one plea... moreYeah exactly, i am using moto g5s plus, at 155 mm lentgh and 75 mm width i find it to be the perfect soze for a big phone. Recently got a realme c3 and dang man that thing is a chonker, 164 mm length feels way too much, this phone is out of control, 170mm?80 mm width? Who uses such big phone? Idk

                    OPEN LETTER TO MANUFACTURERS
                    In 2020 we cannot continue to enlarge display on newer smartphones. You have reached the maximum both for size and weight. Unless you wanto to bring flexibles displays in the economic market you have to come back to easy portable devices. Even for ladies bags an 6.8" is too big and heavy.
                    If you don't listen to customers voices than it will be a nightmare for boths: manufacturers will see the market drops because people will not change their devices for an importante ones and clients will be sad to not being able to have the last device for Christmas.
