Them bailing on face unlock is a joke tbh. I've owned almost every Nexus and Pixel phone they have put out besides the 1st Nexus, the 6 and the 6p. I'm considering jumping ship to apple depending on the refresh rate of the iphone 12. At least there I know they won't add something one year and trash it the next year and go a TOTAL different direction.

The bottom part is so slippery I don't feel comfortable using it without a case, while the top shiny part is much more grippy. I feel that this was why they were planning on doing it this way so you get the grippy part on the bottom.

It looks like Google is confused and have no idea what consumers want in terms of design, hardware and software wise. Just look at what they did to the quick settings panel.

Seriously, why do so many manufacturers still make glossy-finished backplates? They just attract fingerprints and are slippery
