Surface pro x is an absolutly pointless product.
Sucks in Windows, sucks as a tablet and miles away from UX on iOS and even Android.

In my 256GB dell laptop, with required apps installed like MS Office, chrome, adobe reader etc. 110GB is used already.
The amount of space windows takes, 128GB is useless. MS is selling 64GB version. So silly. Selling a $900 laptop and calling it an affordable one, is even more silly. They're mocking customers. lol.

$500 for eMMC crap. Possibly not even using the i5-1035G1 for that price range.

I love the Surface Connect for charging. Love that it is magnetic when family members (or myself) trips over the cable. Also love the MagSafe 2 on my old MacBook Pros.
I wish all computers had magnetic contacts for their charge ports. A truly awesome feature!

Why does Microsoft deliberately waste their time like that? 4Gb RAM, 64 GB total storage? 2020, not 1982? To store what? Sometimes you feel the pain of buying low quality products from hp and the others. But at least their specs are top class.
I have to talk to Bill Gates on this insult

This is a very clean and straight commercial for Surface Laptop (non-go):
Hey you...
This is what get for less money, so stop whining and buy the more expensive non-go.
And if you want to give us money for this (in any configuration) then you deserve what is happening to you.
Yup. Message received loud and clear.
I used to wish for Microsoft to get into the hardware business and offer excellent products and tailored powerful and stable hardware. Now I wish they didn't. And they are only encouraging others to follow in the path of overly priced senseless hardware...

Frankly, that charging cable is terrible, it was used in Surface Books already. It is too loose and constantly disconnects with just he slightest movement and the worst thing is that you'll end up having to carry it around because you can't just charge from a USB, so add a kilo of weight to it. And the worst thing is, that it is proprietary, so if you damage it with a chair or something, you're done or it will be very expensive to get a new one.
Besides, their Surface laptops have numerous quality issues. Battery problems, disks malfunctioning and zero repairability.
Just go ahead with Asus for that price.

Really underpowered and expensive. Buy Dell Asus HP or Lenovo laptop. You will get a better laptop. More durable and easy to upgrade/repair.

That usb plugging clip in the first video is reversed. Clearly if they somehow invented magnetically attaching usb ports, they'd be boasting about it until we were all sick of hearing about it.
Also couldn't they have found a better person to type in the next clip? omg that one-fingered typing is killing me, I physically feel pain from seeing that.

We've seen many bad-spec'ed bad-priced laptops, but I think Surface Laptop Go beats them all for sure. How does a laptop for $550 have 4GB RAM (the absolute minimum to install Windows 10, and less then what would be useable for almost anything), bundled with eMMC storage, whole 64GB of them. And a display with rather low resolution. Amazing.

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2020$550 for 4 GB ram and 64 GB eMMC is totally stupid not to m... moreSpec aside, premium body/frame drives up the price.
I bought dell laptop with i5 10th gen for $500. (With 256ssd, 8gb ram)
But it will have really bad plastic body, uncomfortable keyboard, thick bezel display, and as it turns out limited hdmi display out (can't do widescreen or anything beyond fhd 16:9).
My second hand first gen hp elitebook is way nicer than that laptop. So yeah, frame matters.

$550 for 4 GB ram and 64 GB eMMC is totally stupid not to mention lower than FHD screen seriously? At $600 you could get HP Envy or Lenovo with 6 core Ryzen 4500U. :/
