The (only) one thing I envy iDiots is that Apple supports their phones for much longer. I have the Pixel 2 XL as well and it's great phone! Upgrading to Pixel 4 and going from 1.5 day battery life to 0.5 day? No, thanks. Upgrading to Pixel 5 and losing front-facing stereo speakers? No, thanks. Guess I could dig up some Pixel 3 XL on fleaBay but that only solves the problem until next October...

        I have the Pixel 2 & 2 XL ... 3-year updates is a bit crap for flagship phones.
        Too bad, they couldn't just provide security only updates for another 2 years.

          This is all lies. All manufacturers promise better performance when a software update is available, but the truth is that with each update the phone gets worse. The phones become laggy, slow and if you're a user like me you will notice new glitches that weren't there before very quickly. This doesn't come as a surprise tho. They do rhis so you ditch your current phone and buy that new topmodel. Disgusting.

            I saw this article, checked for the update and just got it. I have not put a screen protector on my 4a yet and have not been using auto brightness, so I can't comment on the 4a specific updates but sure do love that Pixel owners get everything so fast as that was not the case with my Samsung phones.

                Many fixes that could have happened around the time the *very next* generation over had been released. How long have peoples Pixel 2's been on fire or in a coma at this point?
